Our Mission

PONY Baseball seeks to implant in the youth of the community ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority. With a goal that they will be finer, stronger, and happier youths who will grow to be good, clean, and healthy adults. This objective will be reached by providing supervised competitive games. The supervisors shall bear in mind at all times that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary, and that the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.

Let's show the Mariner's our Maple Valley Spirit and show up in force, wearing our Jersey's, hats, and other MV Swag.

Tampa Bay Rays vs Seattle Mariners

When: June 4th

Parade starts at 11:30. Players and their families can access the field at the Right Field ramp near Section 114.

Game Starts @ 1:10pm

What: Maple Valley PONY at the park

Giveaway: all kids 14 and under take home a mariner playground bat and ball set (aka wiffle ball and bat)

Age Cutoffs

The program age for CY2017 Spring Baseball is based on your child's age as of April 30th, 2017.

Girls - Softball Fast Pitch - Pinto (8U) - Mustang (10U) - Bronco(12U) - Pony (14U)

Baseball is open to both Boys and Girls

Shetland (6U): 4/5/6

Pinto (8U): 7/8

Mustang (10U): 9/10

Bronco (12U): 11/12

Pony (14U): 13/14

Colt (16U): 15/16

Palomino (18U): 17/18


Bat Guidelines

We do our best to communicate changes regarding bat rules.  Always check first prior to purchasing a new bat.  Often retailers will discount bats if they may become deactivated from approved lists.  

How to verify if you have or are purchasing a legal bat:

  1. Check the Pony Rules
  2. Check National Rules to see pending and confirmed delisted bat
