Player Registration: 
  • The Player and Parent Codes of Conduct also apply to this tournament team
  • The 8U team is for players age 8 or younger as of April 30, 2024
  • Both you and your player must understand the team’s schedule (as outlined below) and be fully committed to it. Playing on additional teams outside of this program may disqualify a player from being selected. The team needs all of its players in its short period of time to be successful! 

Cost and Registration: 
  • There is no cost to try out for this team, simply complete the online registration at bottom
  • If you are selected for the team, the cost to participate will be: TBD
  • Cost breakdown: Jersey, Pants, Belt, Hat & Tournament Fees
  • Payment is made online in second phase of registration. 
  • Payment must be made in full before first practice

  • Head Coach: Kris Beers
  • Assistant Coaches: Robbi Lehnerz
  • The team will be comprised of 11-12 players
  • The players will be selected via try out conducted by the coaches and select MVP coaches 
  • The Coaches will be determined by the Tournament Teams General Manager and the Maple Valley PONY Board 
  • A team will not be formed unless the coaches and board feel a competitive team can be formed 
Try Out & Team Schedule: 
  • Players must attend both try outs unless previously discussed and approved by the board 
  • Try Outs:
    • Friday, May 31st
    • Sunday, June 2nd
  • Practices: 
    • FIRST PRACTICE: TBD
    • Practice Location: Hobart Field, 6-8pm Weekdays, Saturday (time coach chosen)
    • Optional scrimmages with 9U
